You Can Thrift Right Downtown Edmonds

It’s a little-known fact that Downtown Edmonds is filled with ways to thrift. From homewares to clothing items and even books and records, there are lots of places for savvy shoppers to find deals on new-to-you items within just a few blocks.

And, as supporters of the green economy, it’s our duty to tell you where to find them.

So, if you’re ready to hunt for both bargains and treasures, stick around: This is your guide to thrifting right Downtown Edmonds.

Curated Vintage Downtown Edmonds

The treasure hunters among us will be happy to hear that many shops in our downtown core hide gently used items and bargains in plain sight:

Cline Jewelers and Comstock Jewelers have large and ever-evolving estate collections.

Driftwood Modern stocks carefully-selected, authentic mid-century furnishings and art.

Edmonds Bookshop has a few shelves devoted to used books (and you can sell yours there, too).

Musicology Co not only has great deals on used vinyl, but they also have CDs and semi-frequent sidewalk sales!

At Podium, Nick sometimes adds a section of vintage pieces. Keep your eye out for the cool t-shirts he’ll include in the curated collection, and grab one before they’re gone! This is a place you’ll want to pop into often.

Consignment and Antique Shops

A few businesses in town have been built around circular shopping, and we love them for it. Let’s go a little deeper into who they are and what they offer.

Anchor Chic Consignment

Inside the building at 529 Dayton that is rumored to be Edmonds’ first post office, Anchor Chic Consignment brings high-quality women’s fashion to our Downtown Edmonds’ circular shopping scene. Owner Elizabeth Le, who has decades of retail consignment experience and worked as a personal stylist through her business LizLeStyleMe, opened Anchor Chic in 2016 to keep usable textiles out of landfills while helping women stay on-trend. She personally combs through hundreds of items each week to curate the shop, which includes women’s clothing and accessories spanning multiple styles, sizes, and eras—all at affordable prices.

Liz’s expertise in trends, brands, and body types means shoppers can expect excellent customer service and pieces that work for their lifestyle, whether they’re hunting for a statement piece or wardrobe staples.

Beyond fashion, Anchor Chic proudly supports local women’s charities, including the Snohomish County YWCA Dress for Success. Every purchase truly gives back to the community.

Treasures at Camp Vintage

Camp Vintage

In a 1906 craftsman bungalow at 122 Fourth Ave S, Camp Vintage owners Logan and Christine Harris show off their passion for “junking” with residents and visitors alike. They opened their doors in 2023 with a mission to rescue one-of-a-kind vintage items and get them into the hands of people who will love them again. Inside, you’ll find everything from mid-century modern furniture and nautical collectibles to Sonics jackets, rusty farm finds, vintage clothing, whatsits, and thingamabobs you didn’t know you needed (especially around the holidays).

Open Wednesday through Sunday, this is the only shop in Downtown Edmonds fully dedicated to authentic vintage goods—no reproductions—making it a must-visit for anyone interested in sustainable shopping, nostalgia, or items built to last.

Pear Tree Consignment

At 315 5th Ave S, Pear Tree Consignment owner Christine Poirier wants to help women “love the clothes in their closet, so they can walk out the door each day feeling comfortable, confident and fabulous.” A longtime Edmonds resident who left healthcare to follow her dream of owning a clothing store, Christine has built her business around community and relationships. This philosophy shapes everything about the shop, from its carefully curated selection of boutique and better-label brands (think Lululemon, J.Crew, Patagonia, and luxury pieces) to its commitment to the “slow fashion” movement that extends quality garments’ lifespans. Pear Tree also stocks Petites, Plus sizes, and men’s clothing.
