It’s An Edmonds Kind of Summer Lovin’

So what if it rained for two days straight a few weeks ago? So what if it’s still a little gloomy some mornings? We all know that a true PNW summer doesn’t start until July 5th anyway, but even when the weather isn’t fully cooperative (to be fair, we have our moods, too), Downtown Edmonds is always magical—and provides plenty of shelter.

Let’s just claim it now, shall we? Summer has arrived in Downtown Edmonds, and it’s glorious, regardless of whether the clouds agree.

The kids are out of school. The beaches are bustling. The ferry lines are longer, but also chummier. Downtown Edmonds is alive with outdoor dining, ice cream runs, festivals, concerts, and warm-weather fun that makes us love this place even more during the year’s longest days.

Whether you’re catching a movie under the stars, finding Waldo around town, or wandering the blocks with a coffee in hand, there’s surely something magical happening right now.

To really go ten toes down on our feelings about summer, we’ve brought Lovin’ Summer for its annual moment in the sun (major pun intended). Bookmark this page to keep track of all the details.

Remind Me: What’s Lovin’ Summer?

Every year, Downtown Edmonds businesses come together to toast to the season we’ve all been waiting for. Participating shops boast bright window clings, plant colorful flags around their storefront, hand out free stickers, and hang posters highlighting all the incredible events happening through the season.
