Pride Month Isn’t Over Yet

We’re halfway through June, and Downtown Edmonds has been flying rainbow flags with pride. If you’ve been celebrating all month, you know what an incredible community we have here. And if you’re just getting started or still figuring out how you want to show up for Pride, there’s still plenty of time—and plenty of reasons—to get Downtown and jump into what’s happening.

Edmonds Pride, the volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2024, has packed this month with events that are inclusive, arts-focused, and super fun. From Dungeons and Dragons campaigns to zine workshops, from live music and storytelling to festivals that bring the whole community together, something celebratory is waiting for you.

And our Downtown businesses are all on the fun. They’re hosting Pride specials, flying flags, and donating proceeds to support the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Keep reading to plan the rest of your June.

Plan Your Pride

Saturday, June 20th: Pride Zine Workshop at Edmonds Library, 1–3pm. Get your ideas onto the page and finally make that zine you’ve been dreaming about. You’ll develop your own analog art from start to finish, learn how to fold it, and play with collage, pens, and stickers. No drawing skills required. Zines have been important to queer culture for decades, and this is your chance to create something that’s entirely you. Free event.

Sunday, June 21st: All or Nothing Pride Night at ChurchKey Pub, 21+, 4pm–close. Celebrate the bi, pan, and polysexual+ community (along with the ace and aro community) with themed drinks and food. Wearing your preferred pride colors is encouraged. ChurchKey Pub will donate a portion of the night’s profits to the Seattle Pan Bi Alliance and the Seattle Ace and Aro’s.

Monday, June 22nd: Queer Adventurers’ Guild at Edmonds Library, 5:30–7:30pm (ages 10 and up). Join the Queer Adventurers’ Guild for a gaming night featuring one-shot Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, board games, and more. No experience necessary. Email utrequeeradventurersrsvp@gmail.com to reserve your spot.

Friday, June 26, Edmonds Bookshop: Pride Story Time with Michelle Jing Chan.

The Big Finale: Edmonds Pride Festival

Saturday, June 27th at Edmonds Civic Center Playfields, 2–6pm. This is where it all comes together. The cornerstone event of Pride Month in Edmonds, this free festival is an afternoon of joy, connection, and celebration for all ages.

Hosted by Edmonds Pride and emceed by the one and only Maya Mem Saab, you’ll hear live music from Hetakuso and Sarah Brunner, listen to captivating storytellers (Aunt Mama and Sister Juno), see drag performances, enjoy a craft tent, and mosey through a bustling market featuring local vendors, food trucks, and LGBTQIA2S+ community groups. This is visibility, joy, and belonging right in the heart of our city.
