Meet Sabrina Suttles from Irden Jewelry Designs and Appraisals.
What is your favorite part of your business?
Getting to know everyone in our Edmonds community, their unique personalities and of course their jewelry styles.
Why did you start your business?
I have such a love and passion for all things gems and jewelry. From the artistry of design, to the chemical make up of a gem and the history that a piece of jewelry holds. I love getting to know my customers through designing jewelry for them by learning how they present themselves and what they want to project to others. It really is an intimate business.
Why did you choose Edmonds for your business?
The community here is great! I have had nothing but kindness and welcome. The Edmonds community is so supportive of its local businesses and really act as champions to bring the best to the Downtown Edmonds area. When John and Meg Rankin offered me the chance to take over J Rankin Jewelers I immediately said yes!
What is unique about your business? What makes you stand out to your competitors/similar businesses?
We provide an intimacy that I think your larger jewelry stores can’t offer. Even though we are a full service jeweler, we provide an environment where our customers can feel comfortable to ask questions and present ideas and desires without feeling overwhelmed, or like they need a working knowledge of jewelry and design.
Why should people do business with you?
While you can purchase many of our stunning items in our showroom or on our website, our goal is that you come out of our store with a piece of jewelry that represents you and that you love. Most of that comes from our custom work. We want to take the time to get to know you and really create something that you will love for years, or even generations.

I am a world traveler! It’s my hobby and I love it.
Is there anything else you’d like to tell us about your business?
I am a graduate gemologist. I am happy to nerd out all day on your gem and jewelry questions. Stop by any time!
What are your hours of business?
Monday- Friday, 10am to 5pm
Saturdays, 10am to 2pm.
Closed Sunday and Monday
