It’s Pride Time Downtown Edmonds

Downtown Edmonds is waving even more rainbow flags in 2025! There are more Pride events this June than in years past, and all of those events are supported by the newly-founded Edmonds Pride 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which has organized a long list of inclusive, arts-focused events that span the entire month.

Founded at the end of 2024 with support from the City of Edmonds, the volunteer-run Edmonds Pride 501(c)(3) organizes the city’s annual Pride festivities. Its mission is to host events, create leadership opportunities, and provide education that supports, strengthens, and connects the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Edmonds and South Snohomish County. From one-shot D&D campaigns and picnics to pub gatherings, writing workshops, and film screenings, there’s truly something (or several somethings!) for everyone.

It’s Pride Month Downtown Edmonds! Let’s party (and talk about what you can expect).

Start by swinging by Crow for your Edmonds Pride logo sticker—all proceeds go directly to the non-profit.

Kelnero will be serving a Unicorn Hunter (rose cardamom mai tai) in a celebratory unicorn mug. At Vinbero, order a Friend of Dorothy (strawberry Aperol spritz). Both restaurants will donate $1 from each purchase to Edmonds Pride.

Maize & Barley, a proud member of Washington’s largest LGBTQ+ and allied Chamber of Commerce (GSBA), is celebrating Pride Month with both community engagement and charitable giving. Venus and team are hosting a GSBA networking event on June 11th, and throughout June, will spotlight queer-owned breweries and special beer releases that support the LGBTQIA2S+ community in the Pacific Northwest. A portion of proceeds from these featured beers will benefit Lambert House, a Seattle-based organization that empowers LGBTQ+ youth by developing their leadership, social, and life skills.

Musicology Co. has special Pride items in-store, so be sure to check them out as your adding to your vinyl collection.

Teri’s Toybox will have a rainbow surprise for all who stop by, and Treasures and Teas has two Pride tea blends you can preorder! The “Tea for Tea” blend is a White Peony base with rose and butterfly pea flower. “The Flower Code” is an herbal blend of chamomile, hibiscus, and lavender. 20% of the proceeds from tea blend sales will go to supporting Edmonds Pride.

Pride Month Every Month

While June is the official month to celebrate Pride, we’re a safe place for our LGBTQIA2S+ community all year long. Look for rainbow flags and signs in business windows around Downtown, plus keep an eye out for special Pride displays, offerings, and Edmonds Pride stickers that businesses will share with customers throughout the month (and year, while supplies last). These stickers affirm that all are welcome and seen in Edmonds. Join us for the June festivities, and come back again soon!
