Edmonds Festive Drink Bingo
This season as you stroll through town shopping and taking in our sparkling lights, you can also take part in a fun holiday pub crawl of sorts featuring delicious seasonal beverages crafted by our talented restauranteurs and bartenders. Join us for the first ever Edmonds Festive Drink Bingo taking place December 5th through 31st in downtown Edmonds!
21 of our local establishments are participating in this festive game, including some of our award-winning cocktail creators as well as some favorite non-alcoholic purveyors, too!
Visit downtown over the 25 days and tempt your taste buds with these offerings…
Calypso: Since we can’t easily travel to the tropics currently, you can let yourself be transported there mentally with the Calypso Hurricane that features light and spiced rum mixed with orange and pineapple juices, pomegranate syrup, Amaretto and topped with a dark rum float and a cute umbrella, served in a cool upcycled glass.
Canarino Gelato: Canarino Gelato will be serving up a special treat of a Peppermint Affogato that has two scoops of peppermint gelato with two shots of espresso. You can also wave at Santa busy in his workshop there!
Chanterelle: A Lavender London Fog featuring your choice of Scratch gin or Absolut vodka, earl gray tea, house made lavender syrup made from Pelindaba Lavender – topped with steamed milk would be perfect after shopping on a chilly day.
The Cheesemonger’s Table: Enjoy the festive holiday Cranberry Rosehip Cider from Finn River, located in the Olympic Peninsula. This cider pairs well with many cheeses so make sure to snag some snacks to go along with your cider, too!
ChurchKey Pub: Savor the time-honored hot buttered rum with a favorite holiday surprise we all know and love – pumpkin! Warm spiced rum with pumpkin and spices of ginger, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. It’s like pumpkin pie in a glass!
Daphne’s: Listen to Frank Sinatra and celebrate the season at Daphne’s with a delicious Winter Warmer. A drink where brandy, bourbon, allspice, and Amaro liqueur combine to lift your spirits and warm your heart and hands.
Demetri’s Woodstone Taverna: Wish for a winter wonderland as you sip on a tasty White Christmas Martini made with vanilla vodka, white chocolate liqueur and Creme De Cocoa from Demetri’s.
Fire & the Feast: Edmonds newest eatery will be serving up a delicious cocktail featuring the chic and popular Elena Penna gin, pomegranate, orange, and demerara.
Engel’s Pub: Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, you need to swing by Engel’s to get yourself a Santa Clausmopolitan. This jolly drink will make your spirits bright with muddled lime, vodka, triple sec, and a sugared rim.
Girardi’s Osteria: Nothing says “tis the season” like eggnog and Girardi’s is offering a traditional Hard Eggnog served up in a cold classic martini glass.
Kelnero: Milk Punch is a classic New Orleans style concoction perfect for day drinking during the holidays! This one includes a pre-Prohibition style bourbon infused with cinnamon and cloves, coconut milk, oat milk, coconut cream, egg yolk, spices, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. It isn’t vegan, but it is dairy free, and is a perfect addition to brunch.
LeftCraft: You might be tempted to get into some seasonal shenanigans after enjoying an Elf off the Shelf from LeftCraft made with rye whiskey, spiced cranberry syrup, fresh lemon juice, and ginger beer.
Maize & Barley: Maize & Barley has a great array of winter ales and will be offering growlers to go. If you pop by on Wednesdays from 3pm to 6pm or all day Sunday, enjoy $1 off all pours including growlers.
Market Fishmonger: The Hot Toddy has one purpose – to warm you up. And the one offered by Market will do just that. Theirs is made up of sake, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, brown sugar garnish with a cinnamon stick and slice of lemon – a twist on the traditional.
Pelindaba Lavender: Pelindaba Lavender will be serving a decadent non-alcoholic Lavender Hot Chocolate to their customers.
Rusty Pelican: What goes with brunch? Mimosas! What goes with a holiday brunch? An apple cider mimosa, of course! Stop by Rusty Pelican to enjoy this tasty bubbly treat.
Red Twig: The Merry Malt is on deck at the Red Twig which is a rich breve cortado made with their house-made malted marshmallow and cocoa powder. A cortado is an espresso and warm steamed milk – a great pick me up before hitting the holiday market!
Salt & Iron: The holidays are ripe with traditions and an Old Fashioned is a very traditional cocktail that Salt & Iron makes exceptionally well. Theirs features Old Forester 86 bourbon, cinnamon, cardamom, clove-infused demerara, and vanilla-infused aromatic bitters.
Santa Fe: If you like eggnog you must stop by Santa Fe to try a Rompope which is a rich Mexican holiday cocktail that is very similar to eggnog that features the rum and vanilla.
Starbucks: One of the anticipated seasonal beverages, Starbucks is featuring their popular Peppermint Mocha made exactly how you want it.
Walnut Street Coffee: Rounding out the bingo list is the festive Salted Caramel Brulee latte made with espresso and a house-made mix of salted caramel syrup and rich brown sugar. Finished with whipped cream and dusted with peppermint candy. It’s the perfect treat that will leave you warm and happy!
